What a great start of new series - Mountain Men of Scotland.
Amazing short and steamy read - 2 strong characters, both getting vulnerable.
Finn liked whiskey and his solitude. Until Madeline came into his life.
Brilliant characters, beautiful story line. And so well written. Can't wait for next books in this series.

Even grumpy Scottish men need love

oh boy this new series of Mountain Men of Scotland doesn't disappoint!! Its got the gruff, Scottish magic that makes this story feel almost 3 dimensional.

Madeline comes to work the company image, create some marketing buzz, and give herself a fresh start to get back on track. She didn't anticipate this warm town, highland feel, the nice staff, and even grumpier Finn.

I love that Finn has just been fine on his own, making his whisky and living on legacy. You can see the big pull he has to make things better, yet not wanting to chance a thing about the business. Its a great sarcastic, witty, full of chemistry connection that make you pour through the pages faster than you realize.

Their love story is fast, intense, feels like they've been working on their relationship for ages, and such a phoenix rise in Maddie's career and the changes that bring the distillery into a new age of heritage and growth. It’s got a really deep HEA!

Highland romance.
Madeline is a young woman with a public relations firm. After a complicated contract, she sets out to save a whisky distillery in the Highlands, but when she meets the owner, it's love at first sight, even though she quickly understands that the task will be complicated.
Finn is a solitary and gruff man. He inherited the distillery from his grandfather, but the distillery is facing difficulties. When Madeline arrives, he doesn't see her idea in a good light, but he can't help but fall for the beautiful woman.
Will Madeline and Finn have a beautiful romance, or will Madeline return to London once the job is done….

Honestly, I love everything that Opal writes. But I’ve got to say that this one goes above and beyond. Finn and Maddy are just too perfect together. It’s always fun to watch them go from butting heads to irresistible chemistry. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the rest of the series. Now to find myself my own Scotsman.
